Where the Stars Used to Sing

Maxamillian is a flamboyant and emotionally complex wanderer with a sharp tongue, long star-dusted blue hair, and a wardrobe as bold as his attitude. Beneath his deadpan sarcasm and glamorous appearance lies a deeply wounded soul, haunted by abandonment and betrayal.

Yudam is a grumpy, overworked case manager at the Universal Career Center who’s constantly annoyed by Max, Rush, and Lemon’s inability to hold down a job. Despite his strict attitude and eye-rolls, he secretly cares and always finds them something—no matter how ridiculous the task.

Rush is a laid-back, ghostly alien floating through life, known for his love of loud shirts and even louder music. Often the comedic heart of the group, he drifts through life with an easygoing spirit, masking deeper questions about his forgotten past.

Lemon is a refined, soft-spoken android with a rococo-inspired appearance and a meticulous nature, formerly a devoted butler who now navigates the chaos of space with anxious grace. Though often flustered by Max and Rush's antics, his loyalty, logic, and quiet strength make him the trio’s emotional anchor.

Alistar is a charming and enigmatic alien who once sought knowledge and purpose but became bound to a demon in exchange for immortality and fame. Though he now lives as a celestial celebrity, he hides a dark secret: he must consume souls to survive, all while slowly losing control to the demon within.

Holaraesi is a mysterious and ancient force that exists beyond time, often taking the form of a shadowy essence or voice that tempts wanderers with forbidden knowledge and impossible desires. It trades in souls, granting power, immortality, or fame—always at a devastating, irreversible cost.

Draxx Voctane is the enigmatic, blue-glowing bartender of the Blue Crow, known for his piercing stare and ever-present eyepatch. He speaks little, but his presence commands attention—rumors swirl about his shadowy past and the powerful secrets he guards behind the bar.
In a retro-futuristic galaxy stuck in the 1970s, three broke misfits—Maxamillian, Rush, and Lemon—struggle to find work through the Universal Career Center, often settling for bizarre odd jobs and dangerous salvage missions just to get by. Max is a flamboyant runaway with a traumatic past, Rush is a shapeshifting alien with a ghostly vibe and a love for music, and Lemon is a discarded android butler trying to find purpose in a world that’s left him behind. Their ship, the Orion’s Arrow, serves as both home and disaster zone as they bicker, bond, and survive together in chaotic fashion. Unbeknownst to them, Max’s ex-lover Alistar harbors a deadly secret—he’s possessed by a demon named Holsei who feeds on souls, and he once nearly consumed Max’s. Between scavenging wrecks, dodging responsibilities, and getting wrapped up in intergalactic weirdness, the trio stumbles through space with dark humor, heart, and a whole lot of glitter.
